Our relationship has been anything but traditional from the start. What began as casual quickly turned serious when we admitted we were falling in love, only to learn the following day that we were expecting a baby. This was just one month after our first date. What ensued was a crash course in building a life together.&nbsp;Since neither of us had planned on having children, we both experienced a loss of identity alongside the formation of our new identities as parents. While we didn't get to savor a traditional courtship, our relationship blossomed amidst tremendous change. Together, we navigated pregnancy and a complicated birth, postpartum difficulties, completing graduate school, starting a business, losing a parent, living with and caring for the surviving parent, and buying a house — all while raising our son, Cypress. It has been a wild ride Personal growth and transformation define us as a couple. We have honed our communication skills and are committed to honest feedback that fosters self-reflection and character development. We appreciate how our differences bring balance and strive to use each other's love language. Our relationship has centered around continuously working to better ourselves and intentionally aligning our choices with our shared values.&nbsp;In our marriage, we want to involve our community in our partnership, allowing the people in our lives to remind us of what we share and hold us accountable for maintaining integrity in the way we love each other.

AccommodationsDue to limited hotels in our neighborhood we highy recommend Airbnb or Vrbo, though there are a plethora of hotels in the area. We don't recommend staying north of the Maple Leaf neighborhood or south of Downtown, aside from the Hampton Inn and Courtyard Seattle, which are both in Northgate. Please take into consideration that the streets of Downtown and Belltown can be intense to navigate, particularly at night.
